Wanting to cry

Wanting to cry

A Poem by Damien

Matt

standing looking in your eyes
knowing your telling lies
i turned around never to return
still tempted by the fire just tired of being burned
a lesson learned once wont let it happen twice
im sick and tierd of being nice, whats the price
i dont wanna die but i dont wanna be alive
telling everyone im fine
but im dieing inside
Never mind i dont wanna waste your time
these problems are mine
Maybe thats why im awake all night
looking in the sky
just wanting to cry...

wondering why
its hard to give a second try
when you've been hurt before
when u cant take no more
damn its allready four
time to get up
ya life sucks
i know you dont give a f**k,
just say so what...

an experienced heart broken mind who shows the fluency emotion even in despair memory you have become more wise

I found this piece to be extremely relatable. In fact I am sitting here right now in the same position.

That is why these lines both disappoint me while take my breath away:

Maybe thats why im awake all night
looking in the sky
just wanting to cry...

The reason why is because the first line is so beautiful and profound. But the two following lines are really just s let down if you put more work into the wording of these two lines and also lengthen them you will give a much greater effect.

Still I'm giving you a 96/100

A shocking piece, one wonders if it's real or not, my heart pangs for the writer.

Awwwww!!! Is this really happening to you? (You dont have to answer if you dont want to)
If it is I am here for you if you ever need a friend! Of course if it is not I am still here for you! Such emotion! I hope you are alright! Good write by the way! 100%
