Disease of ReasonA Story by Dameon_RayeA "poem" emphasizing my fears and nightmares revolving around the direction of humanity, and the desires we have to change, and make better the world.
Never-mind the shallow thoughts flowing through my veins
upon the ignorance that shows through the sadness of my pain I fear a fear that's worse than death I know may come to pass, failing light of intellect, knowledge left upon the brink The world is slowing ending for us, as our life begins to sink beyond that ever flowing nightmare of the lessons of the mind, remember this my sordid friends; we have all told many lies while the politicians rant about the money we can make and the soldiers stand and fight for all the risks that we can take, our evidence is thrown away, our good intentions left to die upon that ever rising pedestal we built beyond the sky's the hope we have, we make ourselves, stranded in our minds we show the world what we can; but darkness always hides, we fight for providence it seems, to show the gods what we care, but ignorance makes fools all, and diseases never die. © 2013 Dameon_RayeAuthor's Note
