Light in the Darkness

Light in the Darkness

A Poem by Daltin Bydeed
"

A song with no tune or melody, write one if you wish!

"

Light in the Darkness

Into the light, we are born.
Into the night, we are torn.
The familiar paths we tread.
The enclosing shadows we dread.

Fear not the darkness,
Fear not the evil.
We can weather this
Till seas are still.
We will stand
Hand in hand.
Together we’ll stand,
Until the end.

In darkness, comes the Nightshade.
In darkness, empires fade
Too soon, the burning begins.
Too soon, the tapestry rends.

Fear not the darkness,
Fear not the evil.
We can weather this
Till seas are still.
We will stand
Hand in hand.
Together we’ll stand,
Until the end.

In the end, the past will laugh.
In the end, we leave our epitaph.
For righteousness we band.
Free, together, we stand.

Fear no darkness.
Fear no evil.
We have weathered this,
 The seas are still.
We still stand
Hand in hand.
Together, we stand,
Until the end.

Daltin, this is really sweet and hopeful, even though you speak of darkness. It is the coming out of it that I enjoy. And I can totally hear it as lyrics!! I love it! I love your messages, they are so subtle, yet to strong. Beautiful. :)
