As it has ended,
It begins again.
From broken dreams,
To shattered hopes,
It is impossible to succeed without failure.
Just as it is impossible to fail without success.

Among squalid emotions,
Flaccid opinions,
And the flak of daily conflicts,
The human spirit becomes unquenchable.

So one presses on,
In an attempt to create balance in this oscillation.
However,
This balance is a lie.
Though one may succeed,
Failure always lies in the future.

And so from shattered hopes,
To broken dreams,
It will end as it has begun.
