Waterfalls, canyons, and trees?

Waterfalls, canyons, and trees?

A Poem by Daltin Bydeed

Waterfalls, Canyons, and Trees?

Throughout the world there are many different natural creations.

Among these are waterfalls,

With the sun’s majestic rays catching the magnificent arcs of the water.

The shadows of the colors played by the falling stream.

Their tumbling roaring waters creating a tumultuous noise of wonder and beauty.

However this subject is not what this poem is about.

Another amazing aspect of the world’s natural wonders,

May be found within the baking deserts.

The cavernous, shadowy, hollows of canyons,

Have an amazing aura within their gaping maws of rock,

Making a wonder to us all of the natural world.

Once again this is not the topic of the poem.

One last marvel to discuss.

The great woods of the globe are scattered across the vast land mass’s.

Towering trees and the green underbrush.

The shadows of massive foliage ascending both physical heights as well as spiritual.

Sad as it is, this is also not the theme.

The subject is given in the each of the previous stanzas.

Yes shadows dominate every beautiful thing upon this earth.

There is a shadow to every wonderful thing.

Whether it be beautiful or dreadful,

Shadows may be evil or righteous,

But there are shadows in every thing.

Again I marvel at your being.
In wonder and awe of you.
