Bad to Good

Bad to Good

A Poem by Dalebear

You don’t stop your tongues running away from you

You carried on filling the broth to let it stew

Then I get angry and I am in the wrong

Then you decided to take me back, even though I wasn’t even there for that long

Why it my fault my ears filled up with steam

Because you and others carried on to wreck my dream

Did it make you feel good to wreck a child’s heart?

Now because of you I right back at the start

Yet I keep falling for your lies

I get lost in my own little eyes

But the truth was told

It just be little lonely me alone and my teddy to hold

All this pain is just unbearable sadness

I’m an inch away from total madness

Social services didn’t see what you lack

Or didn’t know for punishment you had to smack

How many times can my heart twist?

Too eventually I cut my own wrist

Living with you was so hard

But I even made you a thank you card

You left me feeling lost a lot more

Is that another point for your score?

But all I can say I have hate for you all

And in years on a still carry on to bawl

Finally this is the last time

Because I have my own family of mine

They care a listen to what I have to say

And they wouldn’t change me anyway

Plus doctors and therapist try to make a mend

Which the help of therapy I have to attend
