Before I do

Before I do

A Poem by Dalebear

End the pain

Before I do

End the suffering

Before I do

End the hurting

Before I do

End the haunting

Before I do

End the torture

Before I do

End the nightmares

Before I do

End the flashbacks

Before I do

End my life

Before I do

Too late I just did

. oh my ... this is another mighty poem from you ... it makes me shiver and quiver ... but NEVER speak of ending your LIFE ... we're never gonna make those losers win ... those losers are just full of sin ... we're never gonna make satan bigger than the lord ... that's because satan is satan and god is god ... we have it in our control to rule ... we can rule over any fool ... those people lost a real gem ... why should we care for them ... we'll show them with all our might ... that darkness is always defeated by light ... they'll be afraid and hide in their burrow ... and we'll rock the world today and tomorrow ... but we won't ever forget what they did ... and all the happiness they forbid ... they are poker faced jokers with no brains ... they had no right to give us these pains ... when we win they'll be running helter skelter ... and no one will give them any shelter ... down with these evil souls ... we'll score all the winning goals ...

. and i agree with em ... you ... my dear ... are super coolio ... you write like a genius ... you paint like a genius ... you speak like a genius ... and you live like a genius ... and no one can do anything to a genius ... because a genius is god's gift to mankind ... and you're the best gift ever ...

- wow - this is intense and power packed - hard hitting - every line is a punch - and the passion in this poem - is truly mindboggling!
- the bruises that they inflicted - the monstrosity they depicted - all of it was so, so unfair - a chapter that shouldn't have been there - and years later, the pain remains fresh - the scars on the soul and on the flesh - and moving on seems so hard to do - and no one seems to have a clue - about how much it really hurts - tears pour in hungry bursts - there's one tunnel after the other - and silent screams to forever smother - the light at the end of the tunnel - seems to be dripping slowly through a funnel - and no relief seems to be in sight - its so hard to stand for the right - no matter how hard it is - no matter how tight the fit is - making them win is not the choice - but believing in the poetic voice - they'd be happy to see surrender - victory propels the repeat offender - the only way to make them lose - and that's the only choice to choose - is by making the world your own - ruling art and poetry from a golden throne - and that, you do so well - so brilliant are you, i can already tell - that its just a matter of time - before your success leaves them in grime - and they will burn in the brightness of your light - because, you, the brave one, know how to fight - you wage a war every single day - with the colors you paint and the words you say - you make them sink deeper each minute - they'll be in so deep, they'll scream they're in it - and when you kindle the bravery in your heart - in inspiring others, you play a huge part -
- thank you, dear dale, for being the brave, incredibly gifted, immensely sensitive and extremely passionate person you are - you inspire us all - with your tender yet intense words - thank you - you're a blessing!
