I now pronounce you

I now pronounce you

A Poem by Murisaka

I stood with her
on that one special day
the only time i had
with her would never fly away.
I yearned for her kiss
and her body was a bonus
one that was only equaled by her personality.
In a way it was bubbly.
All the while she lived randomly
yet she was always at my side
in times of doubt
or of overwhelming odds
she was there
with her beautiful stare.
It was one of silent love
yearning for more that a just friends experience
but i was blind to our connection
and looked for love in all the wrong places
we turned to one another
in the hardest of times
never knowing true love
hid right in front of our eyes.
Now it was her special day
and i the man she chose
now i have to lean forward
and let my eyes close.
For one brief instant
we felt our love grow
and now we finally truthfully know
what the future will show.
