A Poem by Murisaka
"

Black dog

"
darkness all around...
an angelic voice flowed from the microphone
then the lights kicked on
and she was standing there
the luscious black beauty
she had a stride about her that just made me scream
she would turn me down
like all the others around and before her
but i cant keep away i needed her.
The scene faded into memory
she burned herself into my eyes
into my mind
my heart needed her
it burned as I turned
dreaming of that night
that one night that I acted
on instinct
on pure feeling for in my heart.
My heart was wrong
I had been nothing to her
she took me for all
and took me for a fool
that beauty
with a stride of a goddess
was truly a soulless beast from hell
even if she showed me a 'good time'.
This one hard night
changed my life
her heartlessness
had led me to another
beautiful woman
not just in the body that I sought after
but in the soul she had
both on and off the dance floor.
