Nothing ever happens here

Nothing ever happens here

A Poem by Murisaka

Nothing gets done here
not in my poor school
or by my incorrect teachers
who dont know what to do
nothing ever happens here
not a thing has changed;

hit the alarm
ride the buss
hang with friends
do some work
eat some slop
get yelled at
and sleep on it.
its how youll live
from the time you get up
to the time you sleep
dont be discouraged
a day will come when everything
will change

Nothing gets done here
not in this house
or life thats been built on lies.
its a broken reflection
that never shows true
nothing ever happens here
every thing stays the same;
get kicked out
shovel some s**t
eat a snack
finish the day
find a bench
and pull up a news paper.
its almost sad
but in a way its funny too
because its a horrid way to live

Nothing gets done here
not in this city
that was built of drugs.
its a sad town
no one ever smiles
nothing ever happens here
its the same thing every day;
get up
go to work
eat lunch
work some more
go home
sleep.
pitiful
spiteful
a horrid way to live

Something is going to happen here
the pistol is in my hand
ill pull the trigger
and let the others figure
where the bullet where land.
the insanity we are surrounded by
makes the people
never stop to wonder why.
Ignorance
or just ignore me
either way
ill try to open your eyes to see

just one last time

Nothing gets done here
Not in this cell of mine
i was guilty till proven innocent
no wonder i had to lie
nothing ever happens here
not a thing in the world has changed;
start that war
give it our funds
Take a bite out of that s**t sandwich
and get ready for another one.

life has become a simple game
it was distorted by the lies
but just listen to what i have to say
and open up your eyes.
