A sheepish small victory

A sheepish small victory

A Poem by Murisaka
"

A collaboration of many Haikus that tell a story from a dream.

"
I have been abused
like a sheep in the forest
I had just been used

The wolf follows me
in the silence of the night
His howl scares me so

I do not see you
the sheep bleated in such fear
I do not hear you

Evil, it spoke of
the one granted by the wolf
Hidden in sheep skins

The moon shined brightly
over the harsh wilderness
The moons light will last

Slowly, the wolf thought
just like the lies that drew him
Into the forest

hoping with his best
the wolf pounces on the sheep
Yes, the lie would work

A quick bite later
the wolf howled in pain again
Pulling in the lie

His teeth had broken
upon a metal like beast
The flesh was too hard

The wolf ran from it
a sheepish, small victory
The fight was over

The sheep had won one
and had outsmarted the wolf
Who now howled in pain.
