Let The World Burn

Let The World Burn

A Poem by Murisaka

Humanity
A waste of space in my honest opinion
the mass of the population
has got to go as far as I care to see

Let the world burn in war
that's what I hope will even the score
but there is nothing that anyone can get
in the hopes of a rage filled fit

To watch the bombs fall
would be an astounding feat
to see them all
would be more of a treat

The surviving few would be none the different
it would be an ease on their pocket book rent
money would be a thing of the past
but humanity will never move that fast

Just let this worthless world burn
and if you survive, you'll still see it turn.

I dig it. An indifference to the destruction of society, or even the suggestion of a desire for it, vividly demonstrates a deeply bitter perspective on civilization.
