The Beast of Burden

The Beast of Burden

A Poem by Murisaka

They laugh, and they stare
but even you know none will dare
to touch, to hit
they couldn't do it
not even one bit.
But thats because as the saying goes
and everyone knows
your the beast of burden
the one they left out
in the rain
the snow
and tried to watch you
like a simple show.
Yet even though their eyes stare
its not from pity
its an evil glare
of hate
and despise
but soon, very soon
your time shall rise
and fate shall shine for their demise.
Yes.
What little luck fate
and destiny have in store for you
will be set free
for the rest of the world to see
how they treated you
what they did wrong
and how they've done this to you all along.
How they raped you
of your youth
and gouged out your eyes.
In one sense they skull fucked you
with a fist in the face.
So powerful was their hate and rage
it knocked you down even though you were still
in your cage
in waiting for you moment to rise
the the dark of the moon in the clearest of skies.
You are the beast of burden.
