white funeral

white funeral

A Poem by Murisaka

A funeral proceeds

in the dark.

Under the rain

of a cold dead

wispy grey sky.

lightning strikes near them

the attendants scream

as they huddle together from fear

for during the funeral

spirits arose

from their land of lead.

But it was unnatral

so unreal

it felt like a dream, even to this day.

The sky grew darker still

as ice appeared

and the room filled with terror.

the anticipation builds as the trancend

to another world

a reality

a time

to be somewhere else.

They all drift away

slowly

where a second seems like a year

there they shall spend eternity

in their hallowed place between worlds.

It is unknown to the rest of us

yet it shall be told to all.
