All that he loves

All that he loves

A Poem by Murisaka

Laughs wasted with his friends

a tear falls from his eyes

he smiles, and cries

with music playing softly in the back

children screaming

in joy of new friends

and time spent in a home

some was lost

while alone

it scares him

as time passes throgh his fingers

like sand from the beach he stands on now

then a thought occurs

so small

insignifant alost

he turns it away

confides it only to his heart

where even his best memories

have started to decay

the tear still falls to the floor

unaware

the old man forgets

most of his thoughts

someof his dreams

but then remembers

all that he loves

lies in reality
