deserted beach

deserted beach

A Poem by Murisaka

Standing on the sand of the beach
I watch.
As time slips through my hands.
Its rough and so hard
it consumes your memories
while the melodies of a time long forgotten
whispers on its breeze.
The tide ebbs and flows
but every body knows just how fast the time goes.
The love, the hate
is all in the past
there is no changing it
at least
not until a later date.
A smile some joy
the time that has passed means I'm no longer a boy.
The sands start to swirl
as my thoughts change to girls.
Its short but oh so sweet
just to taste every second of the beautiful flow
of the time your given.
You can never get it back
life is simple and swift like a heart attack.
But before the pendulum breaks
and the sands fall to the ground
I'll blink my eyes
and for the first time be found.
But because the ocean of my beach is now gone
I stand on a desert where I'm always wrong.
