bathed in flames

bathed in flames

A Poem by Murisaka

There she stood, unknown to the world

bare, undressed, with blades in hand.

Looking to the sky in her hopes of command

she smiles at the blade, only she shall know his truth

how he is truly inside

a twisted demon that beat her

raped her, tore her image to shreds and left her

in her darkest of times, he left.

He holds no shame, no love no truth

other than his own demise.

The blade drips with blood

its still stained red as the fire cracks

it turns and takes everything that was left

the flesh, the bone, even the touch of humanity

he may have been with.

Her smile is light, almost that of an angel

yet her eyes say everything.

They spark the fire, and set his demise in stone

then without remorse she leaves what she would not condone.
