EpiphanyA Poem by DakotaA poem about overthinkingAlone She wandered the baron streets Immersed in her thoughts The world was still But her mind was loud Drowning Submerged in the past There was no escape She gripped onto what she thought was faith But that was lost long ago Insanity Stuck in her head Tied to the never-ending thoughts Her mind became hazy And so did her reality Departed Her spirit faded As her ego inflated There was an internal war Powered by her rumination Hope She searched within her soul Trying to find the answers to her prayers Bandaging the brokenness The lost was now found Present No longer straying from her path She felt the moment Her mind became quiet And her spirit blossomed
