Sun

Sun

A Poem by Dak

“Take my hand, may I have this dance?” I nervously stutter out of my mouth as I’m overtaken by thoughts of only her.

This couldn’t be a dream, what I feel cannot be replicated in a fantasy, it must be real. But no, it can’t be real either. This young lady before me, is much too breathtaking for reality’s grasp.

“Yes” she replied. She arose, took my hand and I awoke… a dream.

Isn't that what always happens when a dream gets really good? Valentine

Thanks bro.
Some might view a dream as an illusion, an diversion of reality but I view them as fragments of hope. I really like this poem and it shows the reader that dreams can be misleading but also provide hope. This poem is nice.

Good job :D

No problem :)
Sweet dreams are just the mind working toward the goal and the chance. I like the way you led the reader to the good ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
