My Bag

My Bag

A Poem by Daisy
"

Oh, this is a bit sad but I'm really not feeling like this as the end says

"
I took my bag to the riverside
Sat down on a grassy bank
And there I cried
As I tried to hide away from the world

That bag I have of memories
Darkness by my side
Opening up, filling my mind
Those words you said u lied

My bag of tears, so upset
I wonder what to do
Just recall your tender touch
My head still filled with you

Now looking through my bag of stones
Weighing down on me
Each one a moment of our life
Falling heavily

So I throw my bag into the water
See it float away
Believe good times are around the corner
Tomorrow's another day

What a pretty bag. Leads me to wonder is everything pretty filled with darkness? Excellent piece.

This is a sad and emotional poem. I like the concept of this piece. The idea of the bag carrying all the darkness, pain and tears...

Great job!!!
