Vital SecretA Poem by Daisy
The stranger we are, the more damaged, they say.
All the great have fallen Medical addiction for sadness Or mental realisation of reality Great minds seem to know the truth The greatest try not to escape Others jump in to the deep sea of illusion Like the waves they are lead by the motion What does it mean for you to walk with your feet With your mind Your heart And your desire? The poster outside my window tries to persuade me To feed my desire with materialistics. Suddenly the realisation drowns you Deeper and deeper You're lost in a crowd of their clones If your will is strong you might escape But how? The greatest minds have been crushed By ignorance By the ugly side of this well painted face They scream and silence you And when they can't, they alienate you Telling you, you're brain doesn't function Because they're terrified of the truth. The greatest minds are buried Because of someone else's greed and phobia The reality we live in is our own We can manipulate it But be quiet! Shhh. It's their vital secret.
