SonderA Poem by Daisy
You walk past a passer by,
without thinking about it. You walk past a passer by, without remembering about it, You walk past a passer by, without realising it. It seems that you are concerned with your own mind. Yours and yours alone After all it is all you can be sure of. It seems that you forget about the others Other that have minds of their own Some might argue you inevitably act as a Solipsist. There seem to be some days however, You walk past a passer by and you think about it and you remember and you realise Others are minded too Silly you might say Obvious even But do not deceive yourself We all do it We forget about other minds And we forget that each person on this planet has a life Life that consists of complications sorrow, laughs, tears, smiles, complexity, simplicity family, loneliness, optimism, depression morality and evil It's not just you who owns a life It's everyone. Think about it. Sonder.
