Sad, Sad, Lonely Eyes

Sad, Sad, Lonely Eyes

A Poem by Daimonick Koivisto

Sometimes I hold back the tears

And even though I utterly fear

I am that sad clown

Just look at my frown

Sometimes they don't sparkle or shine

Don't take pity on the sad sad lonely eyes of mine

An entire universe of infinite possibilities

And whats before my eyes is the world I see

The world I knew, the world I left behind

The world I'm still trying to find

So dark and hollow and never cries

Don't pity my sad sad lonely eyes

To crawl inside the babies head

Is to hear the thoughts yet said

Images forgotten in time

Brought back by this rhyme

A life is what I bought

But these sad sad lonely eyes is all I got

Got to fix this broken head

'Cause life's a b***h and then your dead

Inject me, infect me with your problems

And maybe together we can solve them

And in unison we can watch as time flies

When we both have sad sad lonely eyes

Together you and I

Staring blindly at the sky

Always thinking with nothing to say

Just wasting this life away

I've been alone far too long

Loneliness a strength too strong

And all this s**t you've ever done

How am I gonna overcome

No more hello's, no more good-bye's

I think I'm just gonna close my eyes
