A Boy Named Blue

A Boy Named Blue

A Poem by Daimonick Koivisto

There once was a boy named blue

He wasn't a fruit, or a vegetable, he was as normal as you

There once was a boy who always felt a bit crappy

He tried so hard but nothing ever seemed to make him happy

He stored all his problems in a wooden suitcase

And always carried around with him a long face

There once was a boy who had no family

And no one knew of his pain except for me

There once was a boy who was out on his own

And never knew of what is a real home

There once was a boy who became a man in the blink of an eye

He lost his youth and innocence and this made him cry

There once was a boy who tried to end his pain

He put a gun to his head, pulled the trigger, and missed his brain

There is a boy with a hole in his head

He walks around mumbling to himself "God, I wish I were dead"
