Are you proud of yourself?

I’m not.

And God wouldn’t want me to be.

Of course I’m proud of the MANY MANY things that He has done for me.

I’m proud of everything that He is teaching me.

But I’m not proud of anything that I chose to do that displeases Him.

I’m not proud of myself.

This is something that you can clearly see.

Somebody asked me, “Why do you have an Instagram page devoted to God?”

Well, it seems like we have a natural tendency to share our gratification with others.

And I am a woman living in complete and utter AWE of God.

I believe that if Christ were to return right now He could easily see the things that we are proud of by simply looking at our social media pages.

And I’m sorry to say that He would probably be disappointed with some of the things that make us proud.

If you’re a woman or man of God who advertises sin than it’s no accident that you are reading this.

Repentance is not just a feeling.

It’s a state of mind. An embodiment. An identification.
