Dualism in the GentileA Story by DailyTruthHe is a Lover, a Forgiver, and a Leader.'They show the proof of the Law written on their hearts,
and their consciences affirm it. Their conflicting thoughts will accuse them,
or even make a defense for them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God
will judge the hidden truth about human beings through Christ Jesus. Gentiles
don’t have the Law. But when they instinctively do what the Law requires they
are a Law in themselves, though they don’t have the Law. 'Romans 2:14-16 How often do you fight with yourself? How often do you analyze the actions of your everyday life
and wish that you had a chance to redo it? How often do you depend on your own commonsense to regulate
the morality of your actions? Some people hold an inner conflict against holiness
and righteousness. Ironically, those same
people struggle with the tarnish of their own ways. It doesn’t matter what side your on. There is no border. Every now and then you may feel overly-righteous. That’s such a miserable feeling. Then on other occasions you feel completely wronged and
iniquitous. And all progress concludes in vain. If you are this person, rejoice! Because God understands
you. Being in the midst of this type of dualism may lead you to think that you are'nt good enough. It's when the flesh is too weak to follow the lead of the spirit. Many of God's people struggle with this. The people of the bible were chosen for a very specific
reason. God chose these people knowing that we would be able
to bond with them. They're misfits and rebels at heart just as we are. Many of them in conflict with their
inner-man, as are we all. It's in this regard that we may know ourselves. Just read this passage from Paul in Romans 7:21-25 'So I find that, as a rule, when I want to
do what is good, evil is right there with me. I gladly agree with the Law on
the inside, but I see a different law at work in my body. It wages a war
against the law of my mind and takes me prisoner with the law of sin that is in
my body. I’m a miserable human being. Who will deliver me from this dead
corpse? Thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then I’m a slave to God’s
Law in my mind, but I’m a slave to sin’s law in my body. ' Just like Paul, while in search of inner peace you should always find power in the name of
Jesus. He is the great solution. It doesn’t matter if you’re insanely iniquitous. Your salvation is no longer the issue. As a Christian there is no fear of hell and no sting in
death. So if you are that person who is currently on the fence, What God wants you to know is that there is a hope for you. That hope is in this life that Christ gave you. And the remedy to every form of chaos and disorder can be fulfilled and laid to rest by the name of Jesus. So don't be lied to, yet don't follow the Prince of the Air. You are holy at spirit, you are rooted in it. If you have been baptized you died as a seed and took root in the soil of His love appointed in the image of a vineyard. (as in the book of Isaiah) So go to God in prayer and confession and refuse your flesh the power to take away holiness as a privilege. Romans chapter 2 says that although you're a gentile, you still have the special right, advantage, and immunity granted to be holy. You must realize that your wicked flesh is fighting your very wise spirit. It's always hungry and lusting for glut. But even if, we live in these lawless bodies, it is without
guilt or shame that we can pursue our holiness. And it’s such a great pursuit with the guidance of our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit. He is a Lover, a Forgiver, and a Leader. Trust in Him because He does all of these things in the veil of perfection,
Our King. © 2018 DailyTruth |
