Oh Guiding Spirit

Oh Guiding Spirit

A Poem by Dai Edenburough

Oh Guiding Spirit, I call upon you once again for help. But it’s for me.

There is a person I love, but I feel that I am losing her.

There must be something that I did wrong.

Was it something I said, or was it something that I didn’t say?

Was it said too much, or was it not said enough.

Was it something I did, or something I didn’t do?

Did I do it too much, or not enough.

Oh Guiding Spirit, please help me find what went wrong!

I don’t want to lose her, nor do I want to hurt her.

She’s always in my mind. Daily, weekly, monthly, hourly.

She’s the only one I want! There’s no one else in this world, that I would rather have!

Oh Guiding Spirit, help me save my love for my Darling!
