Guiding SpiritA Poem by Dai EdenburoughA poem that was inspired to me when I was playing my flute.Oh majestic spirit, help me wonder through the open plains and close mountain forests. For I am lost, lost in a world of men, expanding their territories and building their cities. Man no longer remembers the days of old, when they embraced the magic, the wilderness, and the spirit world. Oh Guiding Spirit, please help them remember the days of when man and beast spoke to each other. Remember the days of when life was like the rivers, ever flowing a natural course that never changed. Oh holy one, help them remember that they were your chosen ones. The ones that were to keep the balance of life and order. Oh Guiding Spirit, save them from the doom that they brought upon themselves.
