There In The Midnight LowA Poem by Chasing Cars and Daydreams
There in the midnight low danced the lonely girl.
Her barren feet carried her delicate frame in a way That resembled a sparrow gliding through twilight breeze. There in the midnight low lurked the endeared man. His brown eyes glimmered with lust, something the lonely girl never saw before. There in the midnight low the man stepped out to face the lonely girl. Her barren feet backed away from the man whos eyes were stained with Insatiable lust. There in the midnight low the man grabbed the girls waist His body slowly dancing to the rhythm of her heartbeat. At first the little sparrow was stilled but she felt safe. There in the midnight low the hawk and the sparrow The predator and the prey danced together Among the midnight gale. © 2016 Chasing Cars and DaydreamsAuthor's Note
