WOW! 'waves peeling like wallpaper' and 'I look for lightning, only to hear the sea’s tuba' are my favorite. I am transported in these words, to a beautiful overcast beach filled with mysticism in a mist of gray and blue. Thank you, DAH,
Willoby

Stunning imagery and your words carry me to a magical world where "I watch sunrise setting fire to foggy scenes". A beautifully penned and mesmerizing piece, DAH.

My pleasure! Yes, downloaded both books. Thank you.
well that is a painting and portrait of presence of ponderer portrait if ever I read one before. nothing feels greater then when you meld into the surroundings and follow its journey

whoa. a trifecta. started out chilling but quickly thawed. love the fiberglass clouds, waves peeling like wallpaper and sea's tuba - all the ingredients for a cool write. and oh, that powerful, mysterious woman of the sea ... :)

love the wallpaper image...terrific personification in this...you make everything come so alive...
as Brandy sang.."my life my love and my lady is the sea"
she is beautiful...and the lone earring....she is still looking for her other, perhaps the reader might help her look.

This is as good a poem about a walk on the beach as I have read. The scene is set perfectly. I know it's not summer. There's a coldness in the air, being December, but it is not completely freezing...smoke rises form chimneys, but it is still warm enough for a woman to do yoga on the beach. A fantastic line here, 'Covered in mist, she blends human with ocean with shells.'
Having spent many years travelling to the Outer Banks on vacations...in fact, returning next month...
many of your lines resonate...thinking 'I watch sunrise setting fire to foggy scenes'. I am envious.
A very good write, DAH
