The Outlook: A Two Sided Sword

The Outlook: A Two Sided Sword

A Poem by J.D. Pine

Raindrops falling from a grey clouded sky, impartially soaking pavement, soil, and concrete alike.

The damp mist masked treetops and roofs from eyes’ sight.

A bland day in my mind but a day nonetheless.

The very nature of my existance is to enjoy this day with every fascite of my disposition, the good and ill.

So, since I be going against my better half not to do so, I choose so with much glea and an outlook in HD.

I think it's a nice prose poem. the language chosen fits, the descriptions are crisp and clear and it says something. There are a few spelling issues, but nothing spell-check won't clear up. Overall, good poem.
Cheers!
