Back To Me

Back To Me

A Poem by Poetic Injustice

As she sat there with her back to me

Undressed upon the bed

And I captured the image, carefully

And etched it in my head

I thought how beautiful is she

And how very much I longed

To have her always there with me

Though to me she never belonged

So I painted for posterity

The image in my mind

And hung the painting carefully

Each morning for to find

Her, back to me

Wow the memories we capture in our mind. Beautiful with a touch of romance. A great piece.

ohh this is so innocent - such a wish .... lover always would manage to survive in his separation, creep from day to night till she will be there again. Loved and this goes straight to my favorites.
