Mind .... set.

I've fallen in love with faces

With voices and scents and traces

I've fallen for women alluring

For the wicked, the willing, the yearning

I've given my heart to hands of stone

To the blind of eye who left it alone

For a kiss ... sometimes more

Leave my heart at the door?

Such a thing I could never do

Love-r I am, through and through

Seems my wreckless ways cannot abstain

Sometimes in a glance I am lost

But once bitten, I forget the cost

Of the last one who shattered my heart

Who through mere apathy could rip it apart

That again once sought, a mere illusion?

Wanting it to be

Wanting it so badly

That again I'm set up to fall hard?

More fool than ever the bard.

I guess my heart's shy, at last

And yet .. wait ... not so fast ...

You romantic wee thing !! You have such a huge heart and soul. Life is so funny when it comes to Love. One can love this way or that way, for this person or that person. Then we wonder why......why you ??? Then....why not you ???? Why anyone ??? Why bother ???
Well we don,t have an option, cos our hearts do all the work. Our head says one thing but our heart can say another. So who do we listen to ??? One day tis the head and another tis the heart.
A lovely poem very well put over and straight from that big red thing in the middle of your chest.
