Just a passing thought

Just a passing thought

A Poem by Poetic Injustice
"

Smitten me. Namaste

"

Just a passing thought

Passing and returning

As if once wrought

It echoes in itself a yearning

So I guess it's not passing at all

But waiting and biding it's time

For a moment, no matter how small

To bring you back to mind

Yes, the fleeting thought is the most troublesome always showing up unexpectedly disrupting the flow of life; but then again it depends upon the reflection or subject at hand. I thought this was a well-crafted piece, flowing well in rhythm and meter.

Why is it that the passing thoughts are always the ones that insist on popping back into our minds

Awww, how sweet. There goes that wisp of a thought....sigh. Brevity in its finest. Nicely done Dag!
