Free Spirit

Free Spirit

A Poem by Poetic Injustice
"

Namaste. Thank you.

"

My lover is a spirit that's free

That, in itself, a thing of beauty

An adventurous soul I so admire

My own free spirit doth she inspire

And feeds a purer form of desire

~

How can I not love her for who she be?

Not perfect yet fits herself perfectly

A boldness within her, expressed in daring

Compassion resides in her breast, most caring

The mutual want of our time sharing

~

So honors and humbles me

~

What's said of love is no doubt true

Set free, it's free to return to you

In that I adhere dedicatedly

Never to fetter but never to flee

HER choice to be with me, in honesty

~

So pleases me through and through

When I saw " Free Spirit " I thought someone was buying the drinks LOL
If that was so it still wouldn't be free, you will pay the next morning LOL
Nice write as always
