Enamored

Enamored

A Poem by Poetic Injustice
"

I love this feeling. I hate this feeling. I need this feeling. This feeling messes with me.

"

Enamored

Her face so enraptures me.

Her voice how it captures me.

Drives me.

Feeds me.

Makes me dizzy with glee.

Oh how I long for she.

Want to be next to she.

Kissing she.

Holding she.

Being her he.

I want us to be us.

Not two but one of us.

Amorous

Shyness lost

Ever to be.

And if it's not to be

Let it die gracefully

Lovingly

Gentl-ly

Dream lost to reality

But if I'm blessed today

Don't let it end that way

Us to stay

Everyday

In love ... us ... we

I found your approach very interesting, especially your use of "she" instead of "her" in
"Oh how I long for she.
Want to be next to she.
Kissing she.
Holding she.
Being her he."
An easy flowing poem to read.Thank you for sharing
