Rain

Rain

A Poem by Daffy
"

The ground was so parched yesterday, and when I awoke at 3am to this sound, I was delighted. It lasted three hours, with no gaps between the rain-drops!

"
The rain came down, down came the rain,
Battering on the window pane,
Bursting gems from clouds up high
Shattering hope of a sun filled sky.

I've always found the sound of rain a pleasant experience. It rejuvenates not just the land, but our spirits, too, I think. Of course, those who live in monsoon regions might not agree.

But,raining nonstop for three hours was another trouble to you.
