I'll not return

Defying what I fear I've already become

It laughs, seemingly amused

You stare back confused

Asking, why have I returned to this place?

Smirking slightly and in your face it replies

Because your life is a race...

You're losing and you know it

Shaking hard you know the voice is right

How did you ever think you could put up a fight?

I'm not done yet

You never even started my pet

I swore I'd never return to this darkness...

You never left

But then again how could you?

You can't change who you are

But I ran so far...

I did my best

And I'm the rest of what's left

The carnage won't cease! 

Not until you end it all

But I swore I'd never fall

Shaking violently you begin to run once more

Out of the darkness and through the door

I'll Not return to this evil again!!
