Funhouse

Funhouse

A Poem by Ember Smyth

Trying to lose my attention
Your fate is hanging suspension
Welcome to the funhouse funhouse
Welcome to my funhouse

I see you crash into walls
Bet you're having a ball
In my funhouse

Don't you know what you signed up for?
Guess you didn't expect all this blood and gore
Well there's gonna be more

You escaped once
But I won't let it happen again
Cause now I have my pawns in place
You'll never outrun their pace
And I'll never tire of the chase

This is my funhouse
Oh don't you know?
It's like cat and mouse
Guess who's the mouse

Be careful not to lose you head
Both figuratively
And litterally
I know that I lost mine
Now you're running out of time

So welcome to the funhouse funhouse
Here I am the cat and you're the mouse
