Mortal Stars

Mortal Stars

A Poem by Daegal

Touching wounds of winters blight
They fall and tear in painful pitch
I try my hands to mend this loss
Casting boldness thriving hearing call
Chance preserve those trembling life
Ever precious caring tread this fear
These broken souls that kneel let stand
Grasping hands and to hold them up
These fellow hearts, these mortal stars
