Memory's Lost Fire

Memory's Lost Fire

A Poem by Daegal

All that joy upon burning brow
Come wing upon infinite bliss
Night springs up beneath thy feet
Stretching wonder stars immaculate

Pour upon me that flavored spark
Devour hungers beauty's deep
Kissing art that's never kept
Love brings darkness's hidden flame

All in weathered wondering heart
That touch kings splendour come
In these words pure feelings rise
These flowers evoking venusion rain

Rest upon thy chest beating seas
Taking scent to highest heights
Rising, going, flying till out of me
This dawning climb sees nothing spent

I fall upon this water cool
Beneath thy breath whispers play
To show that glorys sight unfolding
Eyes grasping color with all that fire

Memory brings what now that tests
My strength to hold these darkened locks
These things that fling you into mind
My key to endure until our ages endless
