Destined

Part of a poem I wrote for a friend on his birthday.

You are destined for great things

And bound for success.

On the road of life,

You will surely be blessed.

 

All shall be provided;

All you’ll want or need.

Your cottage will become a mansion.

And your pebble will turn to seed.

A nice collection of blessings, here. I particularly liked "and your pebble will turn to seed". I wonder if it is biblical.

This is certainly more heartfelt and useful than a standard Hallmark greeting.
