CHAPTER  7

 

 

James felt like everything was wrong with the world.  “How could I have even thought of the possibility of us even meeting?”

“Calm down, mate.  You didn’t know.”

“But she’s a princess.  And she’s engaged.  It’s like breaking the law at the highest possible level…”

“Like we haven’t broken the law before” Joey interrupted.

“Yeah, but…”

“Listen, mate” Jack said “I suggest you just go, relax and have fun.  And maybe if you play dumb, it’ll be like you haven’t noticed.”

“I can’t play dump with something like that” James replied.

“Then just go ahead and enjoy, alright?”  Jack said, pushing him from the back.   “Now let’s go find a perfect flower for that girl of yours.”

“Oooooh, James has fallen in love with a princess” Joey teased.

James just rolled his eyes and so Joey hopped behind them towards the market.

Heara waited all evening for a response, but as it didn’t come, she decided to just go to the Card House.  If he could, he would be there.  She went to the side where James had first come in.  It was an easy climb, since there were some bricks pulled forward.  She suspected James had done that. Heara started to climb.  She had taken her tiara with her, just in case he didn’t know.  She would find a way to tell him.  Once over the wall, she started running towards to House of Cards.
