CHAPTER 4A Chapter by Mara FontCHAPTER 4
The sun was silently setting under
rooftops of the Central Town, every ray of sunshine quitly creeping out of the windows,
streets, nooks and corners. Everythong
was preparing for a silent night. After the sun ahs sat, a pair of eyes watched
over the Wall of the Heart Palace. They
analysed the garden. The best looting
place was, of course, the Treasury, but the route was fully lit. Luckily, there were darker parts of the
garden. The eyes dissapiaered and moments later they were in a darker part of
the garden. They analysed the
surroundings one last time and then James flung himself over the wall.

Up in her tower, Heara was at her window,
a streak of hair in her mouth. She was heavily thinking. The two following days
would be her last moments of freedom. Maybe she should go shopping once, she
knew Caro wouldn’t resist. Suddently, she noticed a shadow in the garden. Why
was everyone sneaking around there? But it didn’t look like any of her friends. It almost looked like… a boy. Her heart began to raise. She had never
been allowed to meet boys, since she had been enganged since her birth. But
this was different. What would a boy be doing around here?
She immediately pulled out her rope. This
was an emergency.
Once outside on the ground, her heart
still racing, she began to race herself.
She had always been Speedy, but this boy seemed to have rabbit
feet. The cold night air was blowing in
her face and letting her hair fly out behind her. Suddently, the boy stopped. He pulled something out of his bag and
started poking around the back door of… the Treasury. He was a thief.
But maybe there is still hope, she thought. Maybe he didn’t come here just to…. She had to try. She gota ll her courage together.
