Changed

Changed

A Poem by D.White

She changed, fixed and stretched
The first her wasn’t ready so he said change and she accepted
A new fate she endured
Lost in him, with entwined limbs
He lives in her
She knows him now, there is no her just him
He transformed her, he fixed her problems and made her perfect
Perfectly submissive, perfectly fragile and perfectly ignorant to the other hers
He stretched every part of her
She endured pain and dripped blood, he stretched her to fit like a glove
He stretched patience, she now tolerates lies for love
His love slipped in her and stretched her skin
Love joined inside of her
At the office they stretched her too, taking her, his and a new soul out
She never heeled entirely
A part of her had been taken out
She leaks from her face
He changed, fixed and stretched her
He tells her I love you
But I too am bad for you
After he challenged and changed her behavior, he damn near made her
After death his perception changed
She was a girl he only wished to mold so that he could f**k
Now life tied him to her, it hadn’t even been a full two weeks
His lips part… not just you but me
Lies he told to save his soul
Life turned real and he no longer wanted her
The almost mother of his child, he dodged a bullet while she sold her soul
He calls her no more
She waits by the phone
On this day he would’ve been 2 years old
