Couple days later i was at this house party, when i came across this fine girl. we kept scaring at each other. both of us was smiling getting all shy, so i took a deep breath and walked on over to her. had

got on the dance floor and began dancing with each other, i was feeling so much

she got in the car and drove away, stone grab me as he said "come on tru we gotta go." we got in his car and sped off, i was just sitting there was stunned. we got to the house, came inside i just stood there with that look on my face. than came in the kitchen, mom ask "how was the party?" sports bra, dark red skinny jeans, a black short sleeve shirt with a graphic dragon on it, black hi rise timberlands, had two silver chains hanging on the side of my jeans, my wallet in my back pocket got about a hundred dollars in

it. had on black diamond studs, a black and red diamond watch, black rosary and my locket necklace and a beaded bracelet. had my hair finely brushed into a long ponytail spray a lil bit of axe and i was smelling and looking real good. had grab my car keys and rode on out, after my internship i was at school was

looking for the girl from the party. her friends saw that i was trying to find her, they let her know.

After one of classes i went to locker, was putting my stuff in it when i heard a voice said "hey." I looked to my right and gasp when i saw it the girl from the party. tha same to her cell. gave it back to each other had smiled. The bell rang school was over, we went our ways. i had drove on over to the middle school. Mom was promoted to be the vice principle of the middle school, i was happy for her. I parked in her spot and came inside was in a good mood. walked inside was saying hi and all, mom noticed how happy i was. I went in her office sat down in the chair was feeling like a whole new person. she came in and smirk "i take it that you found her today." I smile "yep, took me awhile but she ended up finding me." mom lean on her desk and ask "so whats her name?" I ans "Simone." mom could tell i was in love,

and smile "she's tha one for ya." I laugh "how you know?" she ans "a mother knows and two if a girl can make you smile like that and has got you feeling like a different person and its the same for her than you

both are perfect for each other." I thought about and nod my head as i said "you're right ma." she smirk "of course i am, i know all about love i was you're age you know." we laughed. she got her stuff and

we left on out. I drove us on home, couple minutes later we pulled up in the driveway, got out went inside the house I said "chico we're home." heard him barking as he came running around the corner. I kneel down as i

smiled "hey boy." he jumped into my arms had hugged him he laid on the floor i had rubbed his stomach as i smile "whose a good boy..whose a good boy." mom laughed as she took a picture of us, after all that i helped

mom make dinner, couple minutes later Artwon came home from football practice.

he said "hey yall." went upstairs took a hot shower came back downstairs we sat around the table and ate dinner.

After that we cleaned the kitchen i went up to my room did my homework. sat down on my beanbag scaring at

the picture of me, miguel and mami and dad(smoke). this was the last family

picture i had of mom and dad. dad died a long time ago and mami..i have no idea

where she went, six years ago one day me and miguel saw her leave for work but

she never came back home we ended up staying with Kate. we ended up calling her

mom cause she's the one who raised me and miguel over the years. it took us a

long time to fully forget and stop being so angry all the time. Miguel took it

the most hardest, its been a year and a half since we've seen him since he left

home. I miss my big brother, i feel so alone...i love Artwon he'll always be my

baby brother but i miss my protector. For the past few weeks I've been thinking

about joining the army, i always wanted to join now that im finally going to be

18 and a senior and im going to be graduating soon. Stone and Queenie are the

only ones I've told. Told them im going sign up for it as soon as i turned 18,

I've been training for it. I just know that when the time comes a lot of people

are going to be upset about it. I'm doing this for myself, somehow i feel like i

have to do this and i kinda dont fully understand the reason, i just know that

i want to i have to do this and im gonna do it, made a promise to myself and im

going to stick with it. The next morning i got dress and ready to go to my

internship, im a intern at a hotel. had pulled up on a bus, saw olga standing

outside with Eric talking when i got off the bus, as we all was walking up to

the door, I noticed Olga and Eric was scaring at something saw Olga eyes widen

as she said "Tru, look." I turned around and my eyes widen when i saw

Miguel standing by his motorcycle. he scared at me as he smirk, Ms.Diamond was

standing inside when Brandon and them opened the door, she saw me ran to

miguel. he held out his arms as i jump into them he held me tight as he spun me

around. i was trying hard not to cry, he put me down i scared at him as i smile

"you're home." he smile "im sorry i left like that."

Ms.Diamond came outside and stood by Olga who was smiling. she heard Eric ask

"whoa i didnt know Tru knows the prince." Olga said "of course

thats her older brother, they are like twins." me and miguel talked briefly,

i saw that he was still wearing his locket. i touched he smile "never took

it off." he place his hand behind my neck as i did the same to him. our

foreheads touched and he said "i love you lil bug, im coming back."

he kissed my forehead and said "go on, i'll see you tonight." i made

a lil face, he said "ay im going to see you tonight..i promise." he

brother he never breaks his promises..never. he left on his motorcycle after he

nod his head at olga she wave at him, i walked up to the door olga place her

arm around my shoulder we walked to the locker room. After being at the hotel

for two and a half hours we left and head on back to school, I had changed into

a fresh pair of green camo skinny jeans, a dark grey long short sleeve shirt

that has a picture of bob marley on it and a black hi rise timberlands had my

hair brushed into a ponytail, had my locket rosary watch and beaded bracelets

on and studs. was looking good for the afternoon. had grab my notebook and book

for class. Saw my girl at the cafe and all, was ready to leave outta school so

i can see my brother. couple hours later school was over, i hung out with

Simone for a little while than we head on home. I got home around the same time

as Art, i had told him that i saw miguel this morning. he smirk "me too,

he came to the school." Couple minutes later tha door open we had smiled

when we saw that it was miguel, had ran up to him and gave him a big hug. he

held us tight in his arms, he missed us so much. we had sat down and had

dinner, miguel ask "where's mom?" I ans "she'll be home a little

late, tha school is having some musical thing going on." Art said

"yea she should be home around nine or ten." he nod his head. we hung

out watched a movie together, around 8:45pm me and art was knocked out in the

tv room, i was asleep on the couch and art was asleep on the floor. Miguel

smirk as he place a blanket over us, gave us a kiss on our cheek he left the

room and went for a walk around the house Chico followed behind him. he even

went in his old room, he smirk as he saw that it has been touched looked at

same as if he has never left. Then we came back downstairs and sat down on the

stairs as he waited for mom(Kate) to come home. Chico had rub his head against

miguel's leg and went back into the tv room and laid next to art and fell

asleep. miguel had held his head down as he closed his eyes and waited. Around

9:30pm he heard mom pulled up in the driveway, two minutes later mom was coming

in the door. she closed and locked the door, as soon as she turned around she

grasp as she dropped her stuff on the floor miguel raised his head as he stood

up. He scared at her, mom had water in her eyes couldn't really say anything. he

began walking up to her she held up her hand as she took a step back and turn

her head to the side, he said "im sorry mom, im sorry." she began

crying he wrapped his arms around her holding onto her tight as she tried to

push him away but ended up holding him in her arms. Miguel cont "im so sorry

im back im back." They sat down and had a long talk with each other.
