In this world, where nothing’s real,

Do you know what I feel?

I feel abandonment,

astonishment,

contingency,

and reality.

All washing over me

like great waves at sea.

I don’t want to say

That it’s all because of you,

But if you look at the facts,

they point to the truth.

Sometimes I feel

like I can’t be stopped.

But other times,

I just want to drop.

Your hero, I’ll be,

but please just set me free.

I know not what I’m saying.

This all seems surreal.
