Seasons of love

Seasons of love

A Poem by DWelling88

The season is summer
Where it always begins
Hot, sticky, sweaty
Lust leaves you wet at both ends

Autumn winds cool the flames
Infatuation starts its withdrawal
Comfort, rhythm, routine
Loves leaves begin to fall

Winters war wages
Leaving you naked in the cold
Bare, cold, shivering
Her hearts loyalty has been sold

Springs new beginning
The sun will start to show
Warmth flowers life
A chance that new love may grow

I am a young man who has always had a passion for words; reading and writing them. I find the death of the written word to be a tragedy. I am young, athletic, and a masculine man. That does not mean t.. more..
