I'm No HeroA Poem by Calvin Warden II
She asked me a question
A question I though odd Do you have any powers And who are you now The words were lost on me As I never gave them though I didn't know how to answer We all have power after all It may not make us a hero Not the way people think But powers none the less Some we may never know While others seem obvious Even if it's just to others So yes I have powers That's easy to say But as to who am I Well that question is easier Hero, villain, something in between I am exactly what you And what you see is me © 2020 Calvin Warden II |
