Be FreeA Poem by Calvin Warden II
I find myself surrounded in silence
And buried deep in darkness Yet burdened with visions And voices that are not my own Listening to stories of woe And seeing pain in hearts People struggling to live While fighting hatred and fears Trying to find love abound Spreading peace and joy Helping others without reward Simply doing what is right This is how banish darkness And it's the only cure for silence So remember these words No matter how faint or loud Things are not yet over And for that you should be proud So continue to live your life And alwaybe the best you can be © 2020 Calvin Warden II |
